Junk!
This tea kettle is absolute junk! After a short time of use, the kettle began to leak every time you pour water from the kettle. For each cup of tea, I now end up with a puddle of hot water on my counters. It appears that the joint between the main body of the kettle and the pour spout is leaking. Throwing this one away and going to buy another that sucks less.
Not for flat stovetops
I haven't tried this tea kettle, but it has a rim around the bottom, so most of the bottom will not touch a flat stovetop. I am returning it.
Not that great..
This tea kettle is compact and easy the use. The problem is when the water is actually boiling. The handle is made of cheap plastic so when the water is boiling the handle gets really hot as well. Also the handle is too close to the metal part of the kettle. Because of this I have burned my hand. Another defect is that it doesn't whistle if you put a lot of water in it. The whistling only works if it is around half full.
