Better than expected
The simple product turned out to be even better than I hoped. It is sturdy, well made, and the paint even withstands hot ashes. Love it!
Can't get more basic than this
You can't get more basic than this. It's made the same way as it would have been made a hundred years ago (except perhaps for details of paint formulation). It worked well then, and it works well now.
Would be great if it were the color in the pic.
Works like a dustpan. Ideal, right? it's what I expect of it, nothing less nothing more. However I was wanting black, I received light gray. I was hoping to just leave it on display with my other stove tools, but it looks like a little kid kit or something, and doesn't match. And since the sticker is a real PITA to get off, I haven't bothered to just spray it gloss black myself yet. and since it's so damned cheap to begin, it's not worth sending back :-/
Would have been awesome had it just arrived as it is pictured.
