do not buy
i was so disappointed with this being ball i thought it would be good what a rack of junk!! i didn't even get to use it because it wouldn't even stay on my canner ... not joking the hooks that hold on to the canner are not even curved they are almost straight so it just falls off and that was before i even put jars in it lmao!! i wouldn't even want to imagine what would have happened if i had not have tried it and went to put a jar in it with near boiling water ..it would not have been pretty, dont waste your money this thing is junk!!
Surprisingly Worthless
Like Lisa, I also found this rack constantly falling off my canner. I lost a couple of jars when the seals broke due to being dumped when this rack tipped over. Don't buy this rack. Ball should know better than to put their name on this junk. Try the Kitchen Krafts rack also on Amazon.
Rust from rack ruined my stainless steel pot!
I decided to spend $80 on the Ball Stainless Steel Elite Canner that has this same rack. On the first use there was so much rust that it ruined the bottom of the stainless steel canner. I have a photo of how bad the stainless steel looks but I need to figure out how to post the photo. I couldn't be more disappointed.
